Umbria Jazz Festival (2015)
PETE CERDAN
Multi-Instrumentalist (piano, trumpet, guitar, vocals, etc.), Composer/Arranger, Record Producer, Teacher, and Copyist/Transcriber currently based in Teton County, Idaho.
Born (1998) in Jackson, Wyoming, followed by a swift move to the San Francisco, Bay Area, Cerdan grew up among a richly diverse musical community within close proximity to many of California's top professional touring, studio, and teaching musicians.
Beginning his career as a Trumpet Player in his Middle & High School years, Cerdan performed with a variety of local Jazz & Classical ensembles that had the opportunity to play many prestigious venues and festivals including Carnegie Hall, The Montreux Jazz Festival, and The Monterey Jazz Festival.

Whale Tail (2018)
Cerdan went on to start his college education majoring in Trumpet Performance at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in 2017 under the private direction of former Principal Trumpet of the Canadian Brass, Jens Lindemann.
Soon after moving to Los Angeles, Cerdan received a presidential scholarship based on his audition to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and decided to transfer to major in Contemporary Writing & Production, starting in the Spring of 2018.
While at Berklee, Cerdan studied under a number of elite music professionals including Tony Award-winning Orchestrator, Bill Elliott, and Studio Saxophonist for The Crusaders, Dan Moretti, as well as renowned Israeli Composer Adi Cohen.
Cerdan traveled to Valencia, Spain in the Spring of 2019 as part of Berklee's Study Abroad Programa, performing music for locals and gaining access to the state-of-the-art recording studio spaces made available to students.
In his spare time, Cerdan toured, recorded, and wrote with local Boston artists/bands; Whale Tail, LIYR, Oskar O., Mom Rock, and more, contributing original horn lines and trumpet solos to smooth R&B, Hip-Hop, and Pop/Rock jams.
Graduating Cum Laude in the Spring of 2022, Cerdan came in touch with Award-winning Composer, Record Producer, and Peace Activist, Yuval Ron, and began the very intensive 6-month Mentorship Program for his production company, Yuval Ron Music.

Bill Elliott
Cerdan entered the Music Industry, post-college, as an Audio Engineer for the Jackson, WY, based company, Hughes Production, handling gear, setting up backline, and mixing live-sound for large concerts with local and touring artists including American Idol winner, Chayce Beckham, The B-Side Players, Blitzen Trapper, Laney Jones, Sghetti, and Remember Jones.
Advancing from the Yuval Ron Music Mentorship Program, Cerdan was graciously offered a position as the Director of Special Projects for the 3x Grammy-nominated Record Label, Metta Mindfulness Music, based in Los Angeles
MMM's mission, best described by Executive Producer, Dr. Richard M. Gold, is to create healing sounds, informed by ancient wisdom traditions and the most current research in Neuroscience for health, happiness, mindfulness, and creativity.
While at MMM, Cerdan has had the opportunity to collaborate on historic, cutting-edge music projects related to recent discoveries in 40Hz Sound Therapy for treating a variety of neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Depression/Anxiety, and Insomnia.
In addition, Cerdan has been teaching private students music lessons on a variety of topics & instruments since 2016 (see 'Lessons' page). He also was a Lead Teacher for the award-winning Boston-based company, Little Groove LLC, hosting interactive music & singing classes for toddlers.
